Diva Challenge 57
This week's Diva Challenge is the first in a series which will use various people's tangles as inspiration each week. The first tangle is called 'Sanibelle,' created by Tricia Faraone. I like this tangle, even though it's hard for me to do; I'm not very good at flowy tangles, I'm more of a grid girl!
I haven't actually used a zentangle tile in a while so it was really fun to work on this small scale. I've been busy completing my Sketchbook Project 2012. You can check out the slideshow on the right if you would like :)
Thanks!

I have to disagree with your comment that you're not very good at flowy tangles. Your tile is absolutely lovely. I love the soft, folded fabric look, and your Sanibelle is charming.
ReplyDeletewow, I would also have to disagree with your comment that you're not good at flowy tangles! Man, if that's not good, I don't know what is! Fantastic job... fabulous composition, and a beautiful tile for your collection! :)
ReplyDeleteReally, really gorgeous! I love the folds of cloth and the flowery sanibelle
ReplyDeleteYou may consider yourself a grid girl...but the flowy tangles are in your soul!
ReplyDeleteI love this one Dianne. It looks very much like a delicate flower. I really like the lacy frame and the pattern stretching out on the diagonal as well. Really beautiful tile.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty!
ReplyDeleteI have to agree with Karen Lynn - the first thing I thought when I saw it was "I love how it flows!"! Just beautiful :)
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful! It looks like a lovely napkin and napkin ring on a summer placemat. Well done, and inspiring.
ReplyDeleteI thought I had responded the first time I saw the fabulous draped folds being held by the sanibelle flower in the center. This is one gorgeous zentangle!
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful, delicate rendition of the Sanibelle. Your flowy side is beautiful, I'll have to check out your grids!
ReplyDeleteLovely, delicate, and flowing.

ReplyDeleteI really love the open "flow-y" tiles...and this is no exception!
