This week's Diva Challenge is to use ONLY tangles Cirquital and Munchin in a tile. I really enjoy these types of challenges that tell me which tangles to use - less thinking for me!
I'm also excited because my local art store was having a sale on paper and I picked up an 8.5 x 11 hardbound notebook. It's fun to do large-size zentangles; I like the freedom of space and possibility it gives me. Here's a picture of my first page:
I'm finishing up my second page now. Fun, fun fun!:)
this is fun!!!
ReplyDeleteGood composition with restriction of only two tangles.

Great job on the challenge! Have fun with your new sketchbook, I have one that I keep in my purse and use for a "waiting book"... I pull it out and draw when ever I am waiting for someone. :)
ReplyDeleteDianne, your piece is a sunburst of glory!
ReplyDeleteWOW! I love your challenge tile and your large piece is fun! Love it!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you about the space and freedom of the larger pieces. You have created a special ZIA!
ReplyDeletereally lovely, another one to file for later used, thanks.
ReplyDeleteI like the way Munchin is supporting Cirquital, nice flow and movement. Your new notebook piece is lovely!
ReplyDeleteYour challenge piece looks like a mandala - maybe just because it's round. Great find on the notebook - I like doing an occasional larger piece too - yours looks like a sampler piece - very cool!
ReplyDeleteJust great!! I love the symmetry of your zentangle..looks like it is just spinning!
ReplyDeleteI love your challenge tile. It reminds me of those 1970s sunburst clocks! Your large ZIA is great. It has beautiful flow and the perfect amount of white space. Terrific!
