The challenge this week is all about eccentric circles. I love circles!!! I use them all the time in my other artwork and it's fun to dedicate this week's tangling to them. Happy circles, everyone:)
...time passes...
Oh No! I just re-read the challenge and discovered that eccentric circles shouldn't be perfectly circular:( I'm bummed, but I think I'll just leave this tile as my entry this week, cause I kinda like it:)
You achieved the goal by switching up the symmetrical patterns within the round circles and I love what you have accomplished in this piece!
ReplyDeleteGreat tile. It all works together.
ReplyDeleteGreat movement, it's all fun and games, Dianne!
ReplyDeleteVery very pretty...simple and elegant!
ReplyDeleteDynamic--nicely done!
ReplyDeleteQuite nice and I like the way you divided black and white!

yeah, i didn't get the instructions right either. oh well. i like your drawing! reminds me of being in a race car! i can hear the engines revving up right now :)
ReplyDeleteYou are in good company! I did the circles also but on completion I liked what I saw and I really like yours. Some of us just aren't into details or we are so excited to get on with it, we miss the details. Nice work!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog Dianne - Love the big circle - got a lot of levels of depth in the centre part
ReplyDeleteI guess I didn't catch that part about eccentric circles not being perfectly round either. It's a good thing that I can't draw a perfectly round circle! ;) I really like what you came up with. Hey, I'd love to read your book! It looks...mysterious! :D
ReplyDeleteLol! Thanks, Lisa:)
DeletePerfectly round or not, this is absolutely fabulous!
