Diva Challenge 70!
Brown is not generally on my list of favorite colors. The only good thing that's brown is chocolate! Even so, I pulled out my brown Micron pen and got to work. This piece is another where I used specific shapes as the string. I call this 'Shards' because it reminds me of shards of glass. Oh, and I couldn't not do any color, so I added a red string:)
On another note, I'm so excited because I got my Zentangle order in the mail today. I bought the Ensemble tiles and also the Zendala tiles. Yep, I'm going to dive into the round world of zendalas! Wish me luck:)
(I had to edit this to say 'It's SO not fair to follow Simone on the list:)

LOVE the geometric feel of this! Great job!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about the brown/sepia/rust-colored Micron, it's a really funky color. I used the darker brown for mine instead, and it looks black.
ReplyDeleteThis tangle is incredibly unique! I like the string that ties it all together... it looks like a keychain you'd be better off not putting in your pocket. ;o)
hahaha! i agree with the chocolate comment!
ReplyDeletei really like how you did this - pulling all the pieces together with a red cord - pretty awesome idea! speaking of chocolate, i've just got to say that one main piece diagonal across the middle - reminds me of a kit kat bar! :)
AND you are are going to love those zendala tiles! i just ordered my second set :)
Complete and perfect in sepia! I love the red string running through!
ReplyDeleteI love the optical illusion!
ReplyDeleteA lovely Zia!!! You used a lot of tangles and that looks realy nice.

ReplyDeleteThank you very much for your visit and comment.
I really love all the shapes of the shards and the designs you choose for each one. The red cord holds them all together.
ReplyDeleteVery unique. Nice work!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea!
ReplyDeleteThis is so fun--I love how it's all 'strung' together! Very cool and can't wait to see your Zendalas!
ReplyDeleteThis is a fabulous design! I love the geometric style and creativity of design. I just want to keep looking at it cuz there is so much to see.
ReplyDeleteI really like how you "sewed" this all together. Great tile!
